In Berlin geboren, studierte Marc Boettcher Schauspiel, Theaterwissenschaft und Germanistik. Erste eigene Filme folgten bereits als Sch\u00fcler. (Zuschauerpreis f\u00fcr \u201eDas t\u00f6dliche Telefon“ beim Sch\u00fclerfilmfestival Hannover 1982)<\/p>\n

Seit 1988 ist er als Dramaturg, Schauspieler sowie Regisseur t\u00e4tig.<\/p>\n

Engagements in Stuttgart, L\u00fcbeck und Berlin. <\/p>\n

W\u00e4hrend seiner Laufbahn arbeitete er als freier TV-Redakteur und ist seit 1990 als Synchronautor\/regisseur erfolgreich (u. a. \u201eEisenstein in Guanajuato“, \u201eCall me by your name“, bzw. Serien wie \u201eEine himmlische Familie“, \u201eDer Name\n der Rose“ und \u201eWe are who we are“).<\/p>\n

Es folgten zahlreiche Ver\u00f6ffentlichungen, Essays, ein Buch \u00fcber Henrik Ibsen sowie 1998 eine erste Biographie \u00fcber die Schlager-Ikone \u201eAlexandra\u201c im Knaur Verlag, M\u00fcnchen.<\/p>\n
